Description:
These walks to be held in three major cities on the same day – New York, Los Angeles and Miami – were created and organized by Wendy's children, Ali, Matt and Jackie Landes in New York and LA, and in Miami by Michael and Stephanie Rosen, Wendy's brother and sister-in-law. Wendy has a rare form of cancer, called Liposarcoma. She is currently undergoing treatment as part of a clinical trial. To date, the disease can be treated, but not cured. Because of the rarity of this cancer, the cure depends solely on new research. Sarcoma researchers must rely primarily on private funding, because government funds are used for more well-known cancers.
